Pheasant in Bacon

Bacon keeps lean pheasant moist as it cooks. Our pheasant in bacon is local wild game from Alton, wrapped and ready to cook. Roast it in a hot oven for about 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and the meat is cooked through. Serve it with mash, roast vegetables and a spoonful of cranberry or redcurrant jelly.
